We suffer various kinds of paralyses, and yes, lying with us on a stretcher are spiritual paralyses like fear, sin, resentment, pride or doubt. This is aside from physical, economic, and relationship paralyses—all of which afflict our lives. A healthy body is a blessing, but a healthy soul is an even better and greater gift because our spirit can commune with God.
