Celebrating a Year of Love and Service: Missio Amare’s First Anniversary

On January 9, 2025, Tekton Social Development Association Incorporated (TSDAI) or commonly known as Missio Amare, celebrated its first anniversary with a heartfelt and joyous program at the CFC Global Mission Center. The event was a testament to the organization’s dedication to love and service, marking a year of impactful initiatives and community engagements. 

The event was a beautiful celebration of a year filled with dedication, compassion, and a shared commitment to making a positive difference in the world. With a reflective and grateful tone Thanksgiving Mass was led by Fr. Ben Beltran at 11:00 AM in the GMC Chapel, after which attendees fostered a sense of camaraderie with a fellowship lunch in the GMC Lobby.The formal program commenced at 1:00 PM with Missio Amare Executive Director Noli Manuel serving as the emcee.  

To open the event, Missio Amare President Joel Dayao highlighted the organization’s achievements, and expressed sincere gratitude to all who contributed to its success. Then acknowledged in attendance were key guests such as the CFC International Council, Missio Amare incorporators, members of the Board of Trustees, program heads, and Missio Amare coordinators from the many sectors of Metro Manila. 

Missio Amare Chairman Rey Reyes emphasized the importance of the organization’s mission and the impact it has had on the community through an inspiring anniversary message. The event also featured the launch of the Missio Amare music video, a creative expression of the organization’s values and aspirations. 

Executive Director Noli Manuel then outlined the organization’s plans to further their mission of love and service, by presenting project proposals and future initiatives from the various Missio Amare programs. Sharing their insights and support for these upcoming endeavors is Couples for Christ President and Chairman and one of Missio Amare’s Board of Trustees Joe Yamamoto. 

The program concluded with a closing prayer led by Missio Amare Treasurer Jimmy Manrique, followed by a group photo to commemorate the occasion.  

As Missio Amare looks forward to another year of service, the anniversary celebration reminds brethren of the power of love, and the impact that a dedicated community can achieve. Here’s to many more years of Missio Amare’s mission to love and serve!
