CFC International Leaders Conference 2026 Calls Global Leaders to Deeper Unity in Christ

Last January 10, 2026, Couples for Christ leaders from across the globe gathered at the Jose Rizal Coliseum in Calamba City for the CFC International Leaders Conference (ILC) 2026, a spirit-filled assembly anchored on the theme “In the One, we are one!”

The conference brought together the global CFC family for a day of worship, Eucharistic celebration, formation, and praise—renewing leaders in their calling to live and lead in authentic Koinonia, a fellowship rooted in communion with God and unity with one another.

Alongside the Metro Manila and Philippine Missions, leaders from the International Missions in the following countries were also present:

Kenya
Mauritius
Seychelles
Nambia
Zambia
Canada
United States of America
Bahrain
Kingdom of Saudi Arabia
Oman
Qatar
United Arab Emirates
Japan
India
Brunei Darussalam
Indonesia
Malaysia
Singapore
Thailand
Austria
Austria
Czech Republic
Romania
United Kingdom
Italy
France
Australia
New Zealand
Guam

The day began with registration and community-building moments, followed by the Holy Rosary and the Holy Mass, grounding the entire gathering in prayer and thanksgiving. Special segments highlighted CFC mission initiatives including Ablaze and ANCOP, reminded participants of the movement’s continuing call to evangelize and serve the poor.

Bro. Jimmy Ilagan, CFC Executive Director, also took the floor to formally announce the relaunch of the CFC website, featuring a refreshed design, expanded content, and a more streamlined user experience for brothers and sisters engaging with the community online. The relaunched website now serves as a more accessible platform for connection, information, and mission, and can be visited at www.couplesforchristglobal.org

Formation Sessions

The heart of the conference was marked by two powerful formation sessions that unpacked the 2026 theme.

Session 1: “In the One” was delivered by Bro. Lawrence Quintero, a member of the CFC International Council, with an inspiring personal sharing from the Patacsil Family. The session emphasized the primacy of communion with God, calling leaders to return to the core of their faith through a deeper prayer life and a renewed relationship with Jesus Christ as the true source of unity and mission.

Session 2: “We Are One!” was delivered by Bro. Arnel Santos, CFC Chairman/President, and focused on the lived expression of unity within the community. In the talk, he emphasized that genuine fellowship flows naturally when Christ is at the center of relationships. The session culminated in the praying-over and send-off of CFC missionaries, as they bring this spirit of fellowship to new provinces, countries, and territories. Leaders were then encouraged to foster humility, reconciliation, and love in their respective areas of service.

Worship and Praise

The conference was further enriched by moments of vibrant worship led by leaders from different countries, including Bro. Patrick Thong of CFC Singapore, who led the opening worship, and a powerful Praisefest led by Bro. Mike Bukuhan, also a member of the CFC International Council. Through praise, music, and the official CFC 2026 Theme Song “In the One, we are one”, participants joyfully celebrated their shared identity as one global family in Christ.

As the conference drew to a close, leaders were sent forth renewed in spirit and mission—strengthened by fellowship, united in faith, and inspired to live out Koinonia in their families, communities, and nations.

The CFC International Leaders Conference 2026 stands as a testament to God’s continuing work in Couples for Christ—forming leaders who are deeply rooted in Christ and courageously united as one body for His mission.
