January 10, 2026, Jose Rizal Coliseum. For the second session of the CFC International Leaders’ Conference, CFC Chairman/President Bro. Arnel Santos exhorted to more than 6,000 CFC leaders that the community will not be able to be ONE unless they are “In the One”.
In the talk entitled “We are one,” Bro. Arnel quoted Pope Benedict XVI, who described communion as ‘life in fellowship with God and one another.’ He highlighted that fellowship, as a communion, is essential to community life. Fellowship is not simply social interaction, but a shared journey of growth in Christ as members of one faith community.
To describe the fellowship of our community, Bro. Arnel declared that in CFC:
- Walang nag-iisa (No one is alone)
- Walang nang-iisa (No one takes advantage of others)
- Walang hindi nakikiisa (There is no one who does not participate)
Bro Arnel likewise outlined the direction of the community identifying 10 Key Areas that we have been doing and shall continue to guide our community this 2026 until 2030 which is likewise patterned after the word FELLOWSHIP which are as follows:
Bro. Arnel also outlined the direction of the community by identifying 10 Key Areas that we have pursued and will continue to uphold from 2026 to 2030. These priorities are patterned after the word FELLOWSHIP and will serve as guiding points for the years ahead, as follows:
- F – Forming Families of Faith
- E – Expand the Mission
- L – Leave A Legacy
- L – Love More
- O – Operationalize Good and Godly Governance
- W – Witness to Families and the World
- S – Strengthen the Core
- H – Holiness in Daily Life
- I – Integrate Faith into Culture
- P – Prepare the Next Generation
The community’s experiences on the above indeed affirm our call to be one in the One, and shall guide us for the years to come.
To make the talk more concrete, Bro. Freddie and Sis. Mercy Savillano of CFC Metro Manila East B shared about their son, 1st Lt. John Frederick Savillano—a former Kids for Christ and Youth for Christ Member—and a member of the Philippine Marine Corps. Lt. Savillano was conferred by the Order of St. Stephen for his life of holiness that culminated in courageously giving up his life during the Marawi Siege last 2017. Other leaders of the community were likewise recognized for their holiness in their personal lives.
Bro. Arnel stressed that it was not only a slogan, but a spirituality. In doing so, he not only provided the directions but indeed inspired the community, particularly the leaders, to continually live mission in the light of the theme: “In the One, we are one”.
The session ended with a pray-over of new leaders of the community, and brought about to all attendees a great passion for mission and a commitment in fellowship with the entire CFC community. Together, let us live by the spirituality: “IN THE ONE, WE ARE ONE!”
