ROOTS AND FAITH
September 1 – 6, 2026
Family Month Weekly Celebration

September is Family Month, and we’re beginning with something simple but meaningful, remembering where we came from. This week, take time to listen to Lolo and Lola’s stories, build your family tree, remember the people who came before you, pray together, and speak blessings over one another. Because family is more than sharing a home. It is a story, a history, a faith, and a love passed from one generation to the next. May these little activities help our children understand their roots, treasure the values they have received, and most of all, recognize God’s faithful hand in their family story. Here’s to a September of growing closer, not only to one another, but closer to God.
PAMILYA KWENTO Night

Lolo, Lola, Mama, and Papa share favorite family stories with the kids, funny memories, traditions, struggles, and little lessons from years past. A simple way for children to know their roots, treasure their family story, and carry its values forward.
FAMILY TREE WALL

Create a family tree together using photos, names, and little memories of loved ones from different generations. A fun way for children to know where they came from, feel connected to their roots, and see that they are part of a bigger family story.
BLESSING SUNDAY & FAMILY JAR

End the week by gathering as a family, pray over one another, give thanks, and add little notes of blessings, prayer intentions, or kind words to your Family Jar.
A simple family tradition that helps everyone pause, pray, appreciate one another, and begin the new week with God.
