On Tuesday, 30 June 2026, the Working Group on the Committee on Population and Family Relations met to deliberate and further discuss the various bills reintroducing absolute divorce as an alternative to the dissolution of marriage.

Besides The Vatican, the Philippines is the only country in the world where divorce is not legal. As a Community of Family Evangelizers, let us continue to pray and work for the protection of marriage and the family, not only in the country, but for the rest of the world.
